ART X Neidy Perdomo
My "Blanco y Black" series is a collection of digital illustrations that explores the construct of reality and invites you to shift your perspective.

Artist's Statement
My latest body of work, "Paraiso," is an artistic journey that combines my appreciation for nature, the allure of beautiful spaces, and the pursuit of inner tranquility.
"Paraiso'' celebrates the ever-present opportunities to discover beauty in the ordinary, and cultivates a mindset of gratitude and serenity. These pieces are meant to prompt reflection and inspire viewers to recognize the power they possess in shaping their own perceptions and finding moments of paradise in their lives.
Artist residency at Reconsidered Goods, March 2024
My residency at reconsidered goods allowed me to challenge myself by working with a new medium to create pieces of "Paraiso".
Blanco y Black, 2021
Artist's Statement
Your perception is your reality. Through my experiences of self transformation for reinvention, I have become fascinated with the polarity of nature. By working in black and white, my work explores the construct of reality. We experience positive and negative space, and in the end, we as individuals get to decide what to focus on.
Understanding that I am the creator of my reality has helped me get through some challenging times. I hope my work encourages other to seize every opportunity, black or white, for growth and self transformation.
This body of work is influenced by two of my favorite artists, the optical illusions in MC Escher’s work and the vulnerabilities expressed by Frida Kahlo.
